Some Thoughts

Hi Everyone! Time for blog entry number 4?! I lose count easily as math isn't my forte. It's Friday, my second favorite day of the week besides Saturday. Ugh... am I the only one who's that the week has ended? I've been drained a lot this past week whether its been arguing with my parents, teachers, or doing physical activity, I'm sure I'll get some well-deserved sleep tonight. Anyways, the main reason I decided to post this was because today was the 2010 National Day of Silence. I myself in recent months have become a full supporter of equal rights for same-sex couples. Today, kids around my school took oaths to be silent for the day to stand up against LGBT bullying. I wish I had that much determination to be silent for an entire day but alas, I don't. I thought about trying to last through school, but the urge got the better of me. I support anyone performing in the Day of Silence, but if I may ask, what does it accomplish? I support same-sex rights but honestly, what does this accomplish? Wouldn't it be better to raise awareness by speaking out rather than staying silent? Not to say that I have a problem with the concept, but sometimes, one just wonders.

Well... I suppose this is it for now :D Please Enjoy and Don't Feed the Trolls

What's Interesting About High School and Life in General

Hi everyone back for entry 3!

Has anyone ever noticed that in high school, when you try to do nearly ANYTHING (Ask someone out, cheat on a test, tell off a teacher you disagree with.. etc) that you almost never think about the outcome of the decision? Maybe I'm the only one with this mindset but, in school, my Geometry teacher who can't teach to save her life actually goes out of her way to insult me in front of the class! This happens every day mind you and while on some days I'd love nothing more to walk into her classroom and tell her off, I realize that as a teacher she has complete and utter authority over me.

Besides teachers, friends make awkward situations better... or worse depending on the friend and the situation. High school is a maze to which there is no path out once entered. I assume that in college and the working world, people are even crueler which brings me to my next point.

Why do people intentionally try to harm each other merely because they believe their ideas are better than those they are hurting. (Sorry if that was nonsensical) I believe in God and Jesus Christ and that Jesus died for the sins of the people of this blasted Earth but if someone doesn't from a personal perspective, I have no problems. I simply just don't see the point in blowing someone's head off due to religous beliefs (or lack thereof). Also, as a Christian, isn't it our job to save as many people from eternal damnation as possible? I have not a single problem with tolerating religous differences. After all, variety is in fact the spice in the dish known as life... sounds poetic :D! Anyway, what bugs me about the human race in general is how seemingly hostitle we've become towards one another. Nowadays, two people can't say they love each other and want to be with each other without some huge commotion going on. This isn't merely for love, but pretty much everything these days. How lovely it would be if we could go back to the days of building blocks, naptime, and playing hopscotch on the playground but alas, that's not possible.

Next point of buisness. I'm about to get a bit more serious here. In today's world, there is one thing I can't stand hearing about more than ANYTHING in the history of the Earth. Especially in high school, hearing about "so and so having sex with this person" or "those two having sex" extremely bugs me. In today's America... no in today's world, sex has become some overglorified way of expressing your love to your partner. Maybe I'm the only one who's currently wondering "How does this make any sense whatsoever?" If you find this answer PLEASE let me know. I personally think that sex before marriage is dumb because you're giving body away to someone who you don't even know whether or not they'll be there in the morning. So please, save it for marraige

2nd Entry

Hi everyone who reads this..(someone reads this?)
Anyway, I am just bored at 7pm on a Thursday evening with nothing to do. No homework makes anyone's day much better. Today went as follows
History: Fantastic as always but Mr. Daniel (my history teacher) needs to learn to not bore everyone else in the class to sleep besides me
Chemistry: I found out I have a C! Woohoo! Made my day much better because originally, thought I had well... let's not go there.
P.E./Health/Driver's Ed: Final today.. then walked around the track with Melissa discussing her wedding (Melissa is one of my bestest friends and is like a sister to me.. also for those who are wondering, I don't like her like that. It is very much possible for guys and girls to be good friends without having romantic feelings for each other)
Geometry: Quiz... drained whatever energy I had left. Circles, it's personal now.

Other than school, my creative life is going well for the most part. Started working on another fanficton this time based off of Pokemon. (Yes I'm a Pokemon Spazz even at age 16). Also got into D.Gray-Man which is an awesome anime but not as good as Fullmetal Alchemist or Tengen Toppa Gurren Lagann)

So.. play nicely and until next time, I am signing off. God Bless Everyone
